Benjamin remained with the Shawnee, and Mr. Stackpole remembers him visiting his home to see his sister, Mary Jane, who is Mr. Stackpole's great-grandmother.

Notes:

Some researchers have him as the husband of Oceana, but his DOB AND the Serena's DOB about 1837 are too late to be Oceana's. I think it is more likely that Aaron married a daughter or granddaughter of Oceana.

Serena's mother was named Mary according to her marriage record and Aaron married Margaret Blake in 1843 and fathered at least 7 children. Was Mary and/or Margaret Blake a descendant of the Cornstalk clan?

Here is where DNA testing may provide direction, as the census records and vital records may be at odds with oral tradition.
