He was the Principal of School, Central, Graham County, AZ. When school was out he worked in Webb's Store during the summers. He was Graham County Superintendent of Schools for four terms. Purchased 20 acres on the outskirts of Thatcher, where they raised vegetables, corn, potatoes and sweet potatoes. They had chickens, cows and horses. They lived their eight years and then purchased a brick house in town. The moved to Mesa, AZ in 1924. He worked as a salesman. He was considered hardworking and industrious. He held several positions in the Church.
