OBITUARY

Sidney W. Neel, 74, of Martinsburg, died Friday, May 5, 2006, in City Hospital.
Born March 1, 1932, in Yards, Va., he was the son of the late Julian Neel and Elizabeth Neel Baumgardner.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Airborne Division, retired form E. I. DuPont and assisted with Ramon's Catering.
He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church and the Men's Class.
Mr. Neel was an active member and Past Master of Robert White Lodge #67, A.F. and A.M. and ancillary groups including York and Scottish Rite.
He is Survived by his wife, Catherine Lowe Neel; two daughters and sons-in-law, Christy N. and Frank T. Polak and Susan N. and Bruce, Jr., Butler, all of Martinsburg; one grandson, Jordan M. Polak; two step-grandchildren, Beth Ann and Trey Butler; one sister, Patricia A. Breheim and husband, Gene of Chesapeake, Va., and a niece, Krista Marcelo.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 9 at 11 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, with Rev. Kenneth J. Fizer officiating. Masonic graveside services will be held at Rosedale Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
