Robert Kerr Dunlap, 84, of Lexington, died Friday, August 27, 2004 in the VA Hospital in Salem, Va. Mr. Dunlap was born May 23, 1920 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Harry Alexander Dunlap and Annie Kerr Dunlap. He was a member of the New Monmouth Presbyterian Church and was a veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by a son, William Lewis "Billy" Dunlap and two sisters: Adeline Bare and Ann Dunlap. Surviving are four children: Betty, Elizabeth, Robert and Thomas; one sister, Mary; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in the New Monmouth Presbyterian Cemetery with the Rev. Martin Stokes officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the local American Legion or the local VFW. Arrangements are being handled by the Harrison Funeral Home and Crematory,
