  Notes	OBITUARY The News Virginian; 01 September 2012 Mildred Ann (Harris) Davis, 91, widow of Isaac "Ike" Bonham Davis Jr., of Baldwin Drive, died at 4:45 a.m. Friday, August 31, 2012, at her residence. She was born on April 15, 1921, in Augusta County, a daughter of the late William Oliver and Lula Ann Harris. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Davis was the coordinator for the Virginia Dairy Council. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church, the Sarah Seaton Garden Club, and the Red Hatters. In addition to her husband's death on February 13, 2009, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Bonham Davis. Family includes two sisters and a brother-in-law, Betty H. and George H. Hanger of Staunton and Jane Harris Bowles of Harrisonburg; eleven nieces and nephews, Kay Carter (who was her special caregiver), Lynn Hill, Bill Hanger, Jane Hanger, Sarah Stacey, Tom Bowles, Neal Bowles, Leigh Ann Riggleman, Mike Davis, Linda Stinson, and Brenda Jenkins; and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as several great-great-nieces great-great-nephews. A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, September 2, 2012, at the Calvary United Methodist Church Cemetery by the Reverend Steve McMillion. Honorary pallbearers will be her great-nieces and great-nephews. The family will receive friends from 4 until 7 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2012, at her home. Henry Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah, P.O. Box 215, Fishersville, Virginia 22939.
