She was born August 7, 1914 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Harry Alexander Dunlap and Mary Annie Kerr Dunlap. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Swink Clemmer; two sisters: Adeline Bare and Ann Dunlap; a brother, Robert Dunlap; and a nephew, Billy Dunlap. Mrs. Clemmer was retired from Stonewall Jackson Hospital as a nurse. She is the last surviving member of her family. Surviving are two nieces, Betty Pusey and husband, Sam and Libby Dunlap; two nephews: Mac Dunlap and wife, Delores and Tom Dunlap and wife, Carolyn; nine great nieces and nephews; eight great, great nieces and nephews. A graveside committal will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at the Oxford Presbyterian Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at the Oxford Presbyterian Church with Rev. Martin Stokes and Dr. Horace Douty officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Monmouth Presbyterian Church, 2348 W.
