- Louvicia wove wool coverlets in the Appalachian tradition, on of which is in the Historic Old Crab Orchard Museum. It is the only one they have that was made in Tazewell County.
The Elswick raised sheep, and Louvicia was said by contemporaries to shear one faster than any workman on the farm. [1]
