  Notes	OBITUARY Josephine E Phipps Funeral service will be conducted at 2p.m. Wednesday for Josephine Elouise Phipps, 59, of Hensley, Who died Sunday, March 17,1996 in Welch Emergency Hospital after a long illness. The Rves. Nora Bishop and Grant D Akers will officiate at the Roderfield Pentecostal Holiness Church,Roderfield. Burial will follow in Iaeger Memorial Cemetery,Roderfield. Born Oct.22,1936 in Panther,She was the daughter of Fannie Tate Cline of Hensley and the late Reese Cline. She was a resident of McDowell County the greater part of her life and affiliated with the Holiness faith. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband John Luther Phipps; and an infant daughter. Other then her mother survivors include four daughters, Linda Miles of the Home, Fannie Mae Ellis of North Welch, Anita Justice of Twin Branch, and Mrs Herman(Teresa) Powell of Wolf Pen; tow brothers Reese Franklin Cline of Princeton and Roger Lee Cline of Iaeger; one sister Mrs Janes Leon (Carol) Lockhart of Pather and 10 grandchilden. Friends may call at the church after 5p.m. Pallbearers will be friends. Fanning Funeral Home,Welch is in charge of arrangements.
