Born August 17, 1917, he was a World War II Marine veteran and retired from B. F. Goodrich, in Woodburn, IN. He was married to Freda J. Womack for 62 years, together they reared three sons, Jerry Wayne (LaVon) of New Haven, IN, James Russel (Cheryl) of Lake Lure, NC and Charles Francis of Melbourne, FL. In addition to his devoted wife and three sons, Woody is survived by three brothers, Jay, John and Tom; and four grandchildren, Aaron, Shannon, Angela and Heather. He was a member of the New Haven Masonic Lodge and a lifetime member of the American Legion. Calling hours will be at the Florida Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, March 8th, from 5-7 p.m. with a Masonic service at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday March 9th, in the funeral home chapel.
