Chambers, age 86 of Tazewell, VA died Saturday, January 31, 2015 at his home. Born November 22, 1928, he was the older son of the late Boyd Ramey Chambers and Audrey Mae Blankenship Chambers. In 1956 he and Nancy Ellen Leslie were married and remained so until her death in 2005. He is survived by his brother, Joseph R. Chambers of Troutville, VA and his niece, Susan Chambers Nork of Charlotte, NC. There will be no formal funeral or burial service. The ashes of such of his mortal remains as is not useful for research in the University of Virginia Medical School will be spread in accordance with directions to his Executor. During his life he planted a few trees and wrote this notice of his death, previous thereto of course. If anything might be further said, it would be of even less importance.
