He came to Clark County, Alabama in 1809 and settled in the James Creek area around 1811. He had seven sons-Thomas, William, James Henry (my ancestor),John, Charles, Michael, and Welcome Parks. He had a least one daughter-Emily Jane. The last record of Hardyman was the 1830 census. I assume he died between 1830 and 1840. There is some indication he died in 1839 in Clark County.
