  Notes	Southern Standard, McMinnville, Warren County, Newspaper - April 4, 1941 George Carter Tate, 73, died at his home in Summitville, Coffee County, at 8 o'clock Saturday morning. Funeral services were conducted from the Grace Chapel Presbyterian Church at Beersheba Sunday afternoon by Rev. Burl Killian. Interment was in the Church Cemetery. Mr. Tate, who was born in Warren County, March 4, 1868, was the son of the late Robert and Margaret Lockhart Tate. Arrangements by High Funeral Company.
