Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at Memoryland Memorial Park, under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Royce Litchfield will officiate. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Dorman was born in Merit, Texas on January 14, 1918. She was the daughter of Kent W. Owens and Agnes V. Stinebaugh Owens. She married Kirtley Dorman on November 11, 1942. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and was manager at the Royal Drive-In for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Carol D. Littlefield and husband, Jerry of Greenville; grandsons, Jeffrey Littlefield of Greenville, Jimmy Littlefield of Brunswick, Georgia and Joel Littlefield of Greenville; great-grandchildren, Olivia Littlefield, Javier Littlefield, Joaquin Littlefield, Madison Littlefield and Mackensie Littlefield; and a sister, Mildred Cauble of Campbell. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sisters, Lois Morris, Elsie Mae Smith, Bessie Thulis and Doris Purkey; and brothers, Johnny Owens, Raymond Owens and Bill Owens. The family would like to thank the staff of Legend Health Care for their love and special care of Mrs. Dorman.
