Bert A. Miller, 75, 2123 Glen Court, died at his home Monday noon after a long illness. A native of McMinniville, Tenn., he had lived in Richmond 34 years and was an Army veteran of WWI. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans at Eaton, Ohio, and the American Legion Post at Bryan, Ohio. Survivors include the widow, Helen; Four daughters, Mrs. Ralph Hall of Richmond, Mrs. Fannie Locke of Tampa, Fla., Mrs. Martha Witters of Yuba City, Calif., and Mrs. Stanley Beeson of Greenville, Ohio; a son Bert D. of Richmond; a foster son, Bob Hittinger of Fort Worth, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Vestina Jaffke of Farmington, Mich., and 11 grandchildren. Services for Mr. Miller will be at 11am Thursday at the Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9pm Wednesday. Rev. Victor C. Bendsen of the Church of the Brethren will officiate and the burial will be in Fountain Grove Cemetery at Bryan.
