DOSTOR has commenced the removal of the building occupied by Mr. R.H. Powell just south of The News building to the vacant lot by his drug store. Jan. 10, 1884 THE "CITY FATHERS" of 1884, as selected at the election last Saturday, are: B.R. Doctor, R.W. Davis, J.T. Freeman, H.H. Buchannon, and R.C. Smith. At a meeting of the new council, Dr. Dostor was elected chairman, Mr. R.W. Davis vice-chairman, Judge J.B. Jones was made marshal and Mr. J.J. Smith was re-elected clerk and treasure
