Bea was predeceased by her husband, Robert Reade Thruston Jr., and their children, Robert Reade (Sonny) Thruston III and Constance Marie Thruston. Family members include sons, David Michael Thruston of Galveston, Texas, and Phillip Rowe Thruston of Fairfax. Bea also was predeceased by her second husband, James Lewis Moyer of 433 Albemarle Ave., Staunton. Bea was born Nov. 15, 1919, in Lofton. She was the daughter of the late Amos (Mike) Sylvester Rowe and Sadie Frances Nicely Rowe. Beatrice was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Deceased family members include brothers, Leonard, Ralph, David and Joe Rowe, and sisters Marie Rowe Campbell, Irene Rowe Bartley and Edith Rowe Anderson. Bea's journey through Alzheimer's was made easier by the love and care of so many wonderful people. May all of the kind gestures and loving care be returned to each of the people who made the last four year's of Bea's life so special. There will be a graveside service at 1 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2014, at Fairfax Memorial Park, located at 9902 Braddock Road in Fairfax. "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy, when skies are grey. You'll never know dear, how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away."
