WEBB, ADDIE VIRGINIA "JEN" MAYBERRY - age 87 of Knoxville, died Wednesday, April 6, 2011.
She was born, January 23, 1924 to the late Frank and Jeanetta Partin Mayberry. Jen was a second generation professional seamstress. She spent twenty-five years making Knoxville's windows gorgeous, as the owner of Jen Webb Custom Draperies. Jen was a member of Middlebrook Pike United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star and a Contact telephone volunteer. Jen loved her family, sewing, reading and spoiling her great-grandchildren.
Jen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kenneth Webb, two sisters, Reitha Sheffield and Edna White, brother, Ray Mayberry, daughter-in-law, Lori Webb and son-in-law, Barry Leslie.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Barry Webb and Kathy Wyman of Louisville, KY; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Mike Wilkerson of Knoxville; seven grandchildren and five and 1/4 great-grandchildren, Jason and Kelli Leslie, Emma and Addie, Joshua Leslie, Jordan and Kelly Leslie, Kairi and Danica, Brian Webb, Julie Webb, Sean and Tonya Wilkerson, Brody, Aaron and Nicole Wilkerson; two sisters, Nola Powell of Knoxville and Ola Chadwick of Crossville and a host of friends and other family.
Family and friends will meet by 9:45 AM Saturday at the main entrance to Highland Memorial Cemetery for a 10:00 AM graveside service with Reverend Josh Kilbourne officiating. Pallbearers will be Jason and Jordan Leslie, Brian Webb, Mike, Sean and Aaron Wilkerson.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Middlebrook Pike United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, In memory of Jen Webb, 7234 Middlebrook Pike, Knoxville, TN 37909. Online condolences may be sent to www.rosemortuary.com. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel.
