BROADWATER, EMILY FUGATE KINSPORT, TN

Mrs. Emily Fugate Broadwater, 87, passed away Sunday, Jan. 21, 2001, in Wilmington, NC. Born Aug. 5, 1913, in Lebanon, VA, she was a daughter of the late Elbert Sevier Fugate II and Mary Tate Fugate.

Survivors include her husband, Harry C. Broadwater of Kingsport; one son, Alan Broadwater of Wilmington, NC; two daughters, Carole Winslow of Denver, CO, and Cynthia Graham of Brevard, NC; one sister, Francis Russell of Gallatin, Tenn.; and five grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Ketron Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Lebanon with Rev. Mike Carter officiating. Any one wishing to attend the service is asked to assemble at the cemetery.

Following the service, a procession will be going to Russell Memorial Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. Friends may call at the home of Betty Fugate, 134 Tate St., Lebanon, at any time.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. Lebanon Funeral Home of Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.
