  Notes	first name may be William He bought 476 acres on Hunt's Creek in Buckingham, Co. from Powhatan Jones, in 1843. The farm was named Locust Grove. The house was story and a half set over an English cellar. During Reconstruction, cattle were slaughtered by thieves. When he tried to stop them, they threw rocks at him. He ran to a neighbor's house and was saved. His son assumed Thomas' debts. Wealthia moved to WV and her 2 remaining brothers followed.
