Born in Buchanan Co., Va., she was a Daughter of Syrilda [Keen] and John Harvey Honaker. She lived in Buchanan County throughout her lifetime and was member of the Fletcher Ridge Primitive Baptist Church, having united with the church in 1932. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elder Andrew McGlothlin (d. Feb. 15, 1986) and a daughter, Joyce Ann McGlothlin (d. 1967). Survivors include three daughters, ms. Vinnie McGlothlin of the home, Mrs. June (Martha) Ball of Honaker, Russell Co., Va., and Mrs. Eugene (Dollie) Compton of Lebanon, Va.; and eight sons, Wayne McGlothlin, Dallas McGlothlin, Carlos McGlothlin, Memphis, McGlothlin, and Hyder McGlothlin, all of Honaker, Russell Co., Va., Rean McGlothlin and Hadley.
