On Sunday, August 3, 1958, in Fairfax County, Va., MARGARET MADDOX HAMMOND FINCH, retired archivist and genealogist, widow of the late Dr. Erastus Mickel Finch; mother, by her first husband, Dr. Rosser Mead Hammond of Leigh Mead Hammond of 4108 North 35th at., Arlington, Va., and the late William Edward Hammond. Besides her son, she is survived by her sister, Mrs. Ethel Maddox Byrd of Manassas, Va.; grandchildren, Robert Mead Hammond of Tucson, Ariz.; Mrs. Roland E. Curtis of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Martha W. Hammond of the Arlington, Va., address. Friends may call at the S. H. Hines Co. Funeral Home, 2901 14th st. n.w.
