  Notes	OBITUARY From Find A Grave Barry Jack McCann, age 54, of Pounding Mill, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at his home following a brief illness. He was born in Bluefield, West Virginia and was the son of William Jack "Bill" McCann and Betty F. Barber McCann of Bluefield, Virginia. He was a lifelong resident of Tazewell County and was the teaching professional and manager at Fincastle Country Club in Bluefield, Virginia. He was the owner and operator of Precision Golf in Bluefield, Virginia and was an avid bowler. He was a Graham High School Class of 1977 graduate and received his degree in Business Management from Bluefield State College. He was the former teaching professional at Tazewell County Country Club where he was devoted to the Jr. Golf program. He enjoyed the game of golf immensely and was devoted to his profession. He took pride in teaching children how to play golf and spent numerous hours on the driving range with golfers all over the area. Survivors, in addition to his parents, are: His Wife: Kathy McCann Two Children: Marsha Sparks and husband, Jamie of Cedar Bluff, Virginia Donald Hagy and wife, Dawn of Jonesboro, TN One Sister: Marcella McCann Jones and husband, John of Dublin, Virginia Two Grandchildren: Gabe Sparks and Danielle Hagy Two Nieces: Jennifer and Courtney Jones Funeral services for Barry Jack McCann will be conducted Sunday, December 16, 2012 at 2:00pm at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Pastor Shawn Boone, Rev. Jimmy Russ, and John Ross officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum at Claypool Hill, Virginia. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Charlie Collier, Brian Cooper, Dr. David Kovach, Charlie Green, Chris Woolwine, Mike Miles, Jeff Murray, Dr. Ron Householder, and all of his golfing and bowling alley buddies. Friends may call after 6:00pm Saturday evening at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
