James Farrell Claytor Sr.
Aug. 14, 1934-Aug. 29, 2010
James Farrell Claytor Sr. died on Aug. 29 at the age of 76; the cause of death was cancer.
He was born on Aug. 14, 1934, in Caddo Mills, Texas, to parents William and Golden Claytor. He was raised in Santa Rosa, Calif., and served in the Army and Air Force. He was an Emmy-nominated art director and set designer, who worked for 35 years for Paramount and Disney Studios.
He is survived by: sons, Erick and Jim 'Buteh' Claytor; daughters-in-law, Pamela and Maria Claytor; grandchildren, Dallas and Aspen Claytor, and Edna, Edgar and Susanna Pittman; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by: wife, Jimmie Sue Claytor; daughter, Lucinda Marie Claytor; and sister, Billie Hooker.
