Pauline Richardson Burton, 79, of Ovenbird Circle (Quail Valley) Princeton died Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Glenwood Retirement Village.
Born March 3, 1932 in Bluefield, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Watson Neal and Brenda Victoria Perdue Neal. Pauline was educated in Mercer County and was a registered CNA. For 15 years, she served as a Hostess for the Holiday Inn of Bluefield and later in life, was a caregiver to many senior citizens. Pauline was a member of Fairview Christian Community Church and was devoted to her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandchildren; Matthew & Stevie along with 9 siblings: Cleo, Clara, Fannie, Joe, Gus, Frank, Hub, Evelyn, and Bill.
She will be lovingly remembered by her 8 children and their spouses. Linda Baldwin, Joann& Jody Neal, Kathy & Mike Perdue, Billy & Lynn Richardson, Paula & Steve Burkhart all of Bluefield, Judith & Randy Neal of Atlanta GA, Tamera & Rick Roberts of Holly Springs NC and Gene & Bonnie Taylor of Winston Salem NC. 14 Grandchildren, Austin, Danay, Joey, Angela, John, Cheri, Amber, Aubrey, Timothy, Amy, Tara, Haley, Andrew & Kayla. 18 Great Grandchildren. Two Sisters, Katherine Neal & Francis Owens. A host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 20, 2011 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Larry Dyer officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
Friends are invited to visit with the family Monday from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home. Family & Friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made to the Fairview Christian Community Church 120 Black Oak Road, Princeton WV 24740.
