Born July 4, 1918, in Miamisburg, she was the daughter of Robert and Brunette (Sexton) Lovely. She had worked as an office manager at an insurance company. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila and Bobby Barrett of Hamilton, Pamela and Gary Deaton of Middletown; seven grandchildren, Michael, Melissa and Terri, Sherri Deaton, Paula (Russ) Linville, Misti (Jon) Tabor and Gary Deaton Jr. Also surviving are eight great-grandchildren, Karli, Danielle, Megan, Chad, Josh, Amber, Sara and Jacob; a brother, Robert Lovely of Jupiter, Fla.; and four sisters, Essie Hettinger, Becky Hartman, Mary Rieker and Ruth Gross, all of Eaton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Ross, in 1989; her mother, Brunette Moss, in 1996; and a grandson, Charles Jr. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Brietenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, Middletown, is in charge of arrangements.
