They were living in Grundy County, TN in 1850, however, in later years, they lived in Sequatchie County, TN. Reference: Family Record J. S. Tate; Federal Census 1850 Grundy County, TN 682-58, Sequatchie County TN 1860, page 46-35; 1870 page 1-23. Some of the family settled in Livingston County, KY.
