  Notes	A Martha Duley wrote a letter in 1901 to inform a relative of his ancestry. It may be found in the Corydon, Harrison Co., IN library. In one part of the letter she writes: "I will now tell you what I know of your great grandmothers family. Her mothers maiden name was Mary Rice. She was borned in Tennessee her father was well off and owned a lot of slaves.
